Delivery of Your Furniture
Our delivery personnel are available to deliver your furniture directly to your home. Our delivery charge includes inspection and set-up of your furniture. Due to circumstances beyond our control, it is not possible for us to provide an extra time of delivery. We will contact you the morning of your scheduled delivery with a 2-hour estimate of your delivery time. You may also leave special instructions for us to call you at a specified number 30 minutes to an hour prior to your delivery so that the drivers can be met at your home. If for any reason it is necessary for you to reschedule your delivery, please NOTIFY US AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. ANY CANCELLATIONS OCCURRING WITHIN 48 HOURS OF THE DAY OF DELIVERY WILL INCUR A $35 FEE. If we arrive at your home within the 2-hour arrival “window” and no one is at home to accept delivery, there will be a $55 rescheduling fee. Driveways and sidewalks MUST be clear of snow and ice. Our delivery crew is required to wear shoes at all times. If a crew member feels that a delivery cannot be made to the location of your choice within your home without incurring possible property damage, you will be required to sign a waiver releasing Old Brick Furniture for any responsibility for such damages before any attempt is made to deliver your furniture. Rooms must be empty and ready to receive new furniture. Old Brick Furniture does not move existing furniture.
Please Be Present
In order for us to delivery to your satisfaction, it is important for you (our customer) to be present. If you have assigned another person to receive your delivery, please make sure they know that they are acting on your behalf and are fully responsible for merchandise inspection. We will not enter homes with only minors present. It is your responsibility to inspect furniture at the time of pick-up or delivery.
All balances MUST be PAID prior to delivery. Delivery will not be scheduled until the order is paid in full.
Method of Payment
For your convenience, Old Brick Furniture offers several ways to pay for your furniture purchase. Old Brick revolving charge, major credit cards include MC, VISA, Discover, cash and personal checks.
Should you choose to waive the delivery option, you may pick up your furniture from our warehouse. Our warehouse personnel are available to assist you with loading your merchandise into a vehicle that is deemed secure for furniture. However, we cannot be responsible for securing merchandise to your vehicle or for damages, which occur as a result of transportation. Please check your items carefully prior to leaving the pick-up area, once you leave only the manufacturer’s warranty applies.
A minimum 20% non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required. Merchandise must be picked up or delivered within 10 days. All clearance merchandise is sold as is, without any service. Clearance merchandises will only be delivered with a $119.95 delivery fee for our local areas. Delivery outside our local area will have an added charge per mile. There are no cancellations or returns on clearance items.
Special Order Merchandise
Many items on display are available as Special Order items. This means you may choose the fabric, finish or size to better suit your decorating needs. Because these items are not part of our regular stock and are made just for you according to your specifications, it is not possible for us to accept a cancellation or return of Special Order merchandise for any reason, including shipping delays. Arrival of Special Order items is dependent on manufacturer availability and production schedules. A non-refundable 30% deposit is required on Special Order items.
It is your responsibility to measure for proper fit. If a piece is too large for a room or cannot be delivered due to size, utilizing standard delivery procedures, a delivery charge and 20% restocking fee will be incurred.
All purchases are final. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may exchange it within 5 days of receipt, for items of equal or greater value PLUS a restocking fee of 15% of the items being returned. Some important things to remember regarding our return policy:
• All sales are final
• Merchandise to be exchanged must be returned, in original condition to the store within 5 days of receipt, even if the merchandise you selected in exchange is not in stock
• Merchandise requiring home pick-up will incur a pick-up fee
• Special Orders, Bedding, “As Is” or Clearance merchandise cannot be returned or exchanged
• Re-selected items will incur an additional delivery fee
Our corporate office processes refunds. Refunds on personal checks written will be held for 15 days. All other refunds will be processed within 10 working days.
Old Brick believes our customer’s buying experience does not end once the furniture is in the customer’s home. For this reason, we stand behind all the products with competent service and stated warranties. We will attempt to repair merchandise beyond factory warranty at a $55 per hour rate plus parts.
