Cleaning and Care
For Hooked-wool Tops:
- From time to time, you may vacuum to remove dust.
- To clean stains, spot clean by blotting the affected area with a clean, soft cloth using mild soap and cool water.
For Flatweave Wool Tops:
- From time to time, you may vacuum to remove dust.
- Clean up spills immediately by gently blotting the area with a clean, soft cloth until dry. To spot clean stains, blot the affected area with a lightly moistened clean, soft cloth. It is important that you don't over-saturate the cloth, as flatweave absorbs water which could spread the stain. Do not dry clean.
For Hickory Furniture Bases:
- Keep your hickory out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources.
- Dust regularly with a clean, soft cloth. Occasionally polish the wood to protect it and keep it looking new.
